Concepts
We seek to display integrity and gain confidence through the interaction with visitors. The initial design concepts must keep the following considerations in the forefront:
- Page consistancy - Familiarity throughout all pages of the site
- Navigation consistancy - Primary navigation looks the same and in the same location between pages
- Download speed - Pages that won't load won't be viewed
- Location recognition - Relative location of page within site provides visitor comfort
- Site identity - Branding and visual continuity
- Content, content, content - If there's nothing to see...no one will look.
Layout
We prefer not to use "builder software" or templates. These layout processes are a "one size fits all" concept that does not lend well to creativity. By hand coding each page we have the ability to adjust to whatever content is provided by the customer, rather than having to adjust the content to the constraints of the template.
There are many considerations when designing a website. Look through our Rules of Engagement to learn more about the process.
